My name is Matthew Elliott. I established Avalon in 2006 with a goal of bring exceptional value to food service design in the aging services industry. In that time, it has been my honor to work on renovations and new construction for over 50 projects ranging from CCRC to segmented communities.

The growing culture change movement has been very exciting, and my passion is to improve dining for residents in options, execution, service, and experience. My goal is not to design a kitchen, but instead to create a working service environment to accommodate resident needs. In doing so, this must include giving staff effective, safe, sustainable workspaces.
